“Essentially, due to relaxed legislation, it is difficult to know exactly how many tigers or other big cats are in captivity - Not only in the U.s. but also worldwide... however, it’s not all doom and gloom - i will try to keep the bummers to a minimum - conservation action is taking place… the number of tigers in the wild has started to change… there is still a lot to be done to secure their future but this does show that when we choose to act, and act together, that we can achieve what was once thought impossible - and that’s pretty darn exciting if you ask me.”
